In Canada, SEND provides Global Missions Coaching in partnership with the Sending Collective. This allows us to serve people and churches with a wider range of support than we could offer on our own.

Who are Global Missions Coaches?

Global Missions Coaches are caring, experienced believers who prayerfully walk alongside people exploring missions. They serve individuals, families, and churches by helping discern next steps. They can meet with you online or in-person, when possible.



GM Coaches also bring the additional value of resources and networks shaped over decades of global experience. Because each Explorer is unique, our coaches listen carefully and depend on the Lord for wisdom. Their goal is to help others recognize and respond to God’s invitation to share in His mission with joyful obedience.

How does Global Missions Coaching work?



Global Missions Coaching is relational and personal. Based on your Connection Form, a GM Coach from our team is chosen to come alongside you. 

First, they will listen, pray, and help you work out initial questions, interests, and your sense of calling. Conversations are then shaped around your unique context and pace. All this leads to growing understanding and clear next steps.

Using trusted resources and networks, GM Coaches help you explore options and respond faithfully to God’s leading, wherever He may guide you.

Do I have to apply before working with a Global Missions Coach?

No. You do not need to formally apply to any mission agency to engage with a Global Missions Coach. We just need your contact information to begin a conversation.

If and when the time is right, your GM Coach can help you prepare a clear and thoughtful application to one or more organizations.

We are praying many will consider serving with SEND or our trusted partners! You are welcome to explore our Opportunities Library, which includes:

• different time frames: short-term , medium-term , or long-term service
• many forms of ministry. Options include business ventures, education, community development, aviation, ESL, theological education, children and youth ministry, and many more!

What do all these opportunities have in common? Each one seeks to bring our Lord glory by building His Kingdom and engaging Unreached peoples.
