SEND International started in the Philippines at the end of World War II. In the five decades that followed, SEND established Febias College of Bible, and numerous churches, and other training programs and institutions. In tribal areas, SEND established medical clinics and training schools. As early as the 1980's, Filipino churches sent out missionaries through SEND International, resulting in the Philippine SENDing council, constituted in 2008.

In 2009, SEND missionaries established a finish line for the ministry of SEND in the northern, more strongly evangelical areas of the Philippines. Some SEND missionaries now work under the direction of the Philippine SENDing council in the northern island of Luzon...
