Japan | Urban Church Planting Internship
Opportunity Overview:
Urban church planting interns will have the opportunity to observe, learn, engage with, and contribute to the ways God is building his church in Tokyo over the course of a year. This will include prayer walks, becoming acquainted with church planting networks, participating in community formation through a local church, and joining outreach activities.

Terms: Mid-Term (1 - 3 years)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in Japanese language and culture study
- Attend a Japanese church and use your spiritual gifts to serve
- Assist with outreaches related to areas of interest (sports, arts, media, etc.)
- Be a member of a SEND missionary team and be mentored by experienced SEND missionaries
Qualifications:
- Teachable spirit and willingness to serve and intentionally learn from others
- Ability to live independently (laundry, meal prep, etc.)
- Willingness to share an apartment
- Ability to build trusting relationships
- Willingness to be flexible, culturally sensitive, and adaptable
- Have a growing relationship with Jesus
This internship is 12 months in length.
