Japan | Urban Church Planting Internship
Opportunity Overview:
Urban church planting interns will have the opportunity to observe, learn, engage with, and contribute to the ways God is building his church in Tokyo over the course of the internship. This will include prayer walks, becoming acquainted with church planting networks, participating in community formation through a local church, and joining outreach activities.

Terms: Short-Term (8 weeks)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in Japanese language and culture study
- Attend a Japanese church and use your spiritual gifts to serve
- Assist with outreaches related to areas of interest (sports, arts, media, etc.)
- Be a member of a SEND missionary team and be mentored by experienced SEND missionaries
Qualifications:
- Teachable spirit and willingness to serve and intentionally learn from others
- Ability to live independently (laundry, meal prep, etc.)
- Willingness to share an apartment
- Ability to build trusting relationships
- Willingness to be flexible, culturally sensitive, and adaptable
- Have a growing relationship with Jesus
This internship is 8 weeks in length.
