Opportunity Overview:

SEND Europe is looking for individuals who desire to serve the Lord with their gifts and talents in the Uribe Kosta, a region of the province of Vizcaya, in the Basque Country of northern Spain. Castillian Spanish is spoken in this region, as well as Euskera, the native language of the Basque people group. This opportunity is for you if you have a clear calling to plant churches in unreached places, are gifted in evangelism and discipleship, and are able to interact with others with ease. Terms: Short-Term (1-3 months), Short-Term (2 weeks - 1 year), Short-Term (2-4 weeks), Short-Term (4-6 months), Short-Term (7-12 months)

Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships in the community through various activities depending on your strengths and giftings

Qualifications:

• Gifted in evangelism and discipleship

• Able to interact with others with ease

• Spanish Speaker

• Able to live independently

• Flexible and willing to serve

• An aptitude for learning and/or teaching languages

• Singles must be mature and independent with a healthy understanding of what it is to live alone in a foreign country

• Families with children between the ages of 0-15 years old are encouraged to consider this opportunity since the area profile consists of many young families with two or three children

Uribe Kosta has the vision to evangelize and disciple in order to plant Biblical, healthy churches among the unreached peoples in Uribe Kosta. We plan to do this by building meaningful connections that lead to conversations about Christ through teaching opportunities like sports outreach, biking club, language conversation classes, working with youth, music, and more.
