Europe | Outdoor Adventure Coordinator
Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking individuals or couples with a heart for camp ministry and outdoor adventure programs for campers. People who join our team would need to be able to design, organize and facilitate a variety of programs at camp, as well as work with and train short-term staff and interns who are assisting with summer outdoor activities.
Countries: Albanian Ministries
Terms: Long-Term (3+ years)
Responsibilities:
Tasks may include, but not be limited to:
- Backpacking/Hiking
- Rock Climbing and Rappelling
- Low/High Ropes Course
- Mountaineering
- Mountain Biking
- Snowshoeing
- Skiing
- Archery
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
This position is for an adult or couple with a minimum of two years of prior experience with outdoor recreational activities and designing programs for groups and/or camps. Work experience, education, and certifications (or willingness to gain training prior to arrival on the field) are required.

- Bachelor of Science or Master's in Outdoor Recreation, or related field
- Camp design, logistics, programming and leadership experience, minimum two years
- Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness EMT
- Current certifications or training from at least one of the following:
- Outdoor Leadership Lab training (OLL)
- Climbing or Mountaineering certifications (i.e. NOLS, Outward Bound or Wilderness Education Association)
- Association for Challenge Course Technology certification (ACCT)
