Fairbanks | Member Care and Support Pilot
Opportunity Overview:
SEND North is looking for a pilot with a heart for member care to be based in Fairbanks, Alaska. If you want to advance the Gospel across bush Alaska as a pilot while providing member care and logistical support for bush missionaries, we would love to have you on our team!
Countries: Alaska / Northern Canada
Terms: Long-Term (3+ years), Mid-Term (1 - 3 years)
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a strong relational connection to village missionaries in the northern interior of Alaska in order to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
• Fly a SEND North aircraft in support of SEND North missionaries and other partner ministries
• Develop strong partnerships with other ministries based in the region and throughout the state
• Assist with hospitality and shopping/shipping of supplies to village missionaries

Qualifications:
• Commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating (Airplane Single Engine Land)
• Airframe and Powerplant certificate valuable but not required
• Alaska and/or mountain flying experience preferred but not required
• Single pilot experience in complex aircraft and IFR conditions preferred
• A pastor's heart with the desire to encourage and support village missionaries
• A commitment to working with a wide range of believers and ministries from different denominational backgrounds
• Airframe and Powerplant certificate valuable but not required
