The unreached/least-reached people of the north live in small, remote villages that usually have a population of less than 500 people. These villages often have no established church or full-time ministry worker. These villages are often located near regional hub communities. These hub communities usually have small established churches and full-time ministry workers. These hub churches often have a desire to share the gospel in the remote villages, but they lack people and resources to effectively plant churches in these communities.

Project Caribou ’s goal is to establish teams of long-term missionaries in hub communities who can partner with local churches for local and regional outreach. Furthermore, these long-term missionaries will serve as coaches for short-term missionaries (2 months to 1 year) who want to gain exposure to and experience in northern village ministry. Our prayer is that these short-term missionaries will someday choose to live in the remote villages with the goal of church planting. Serving on a Project Caribou team as a short-term missionary serves as a stepping stone to church planting in remote villages.

Consider giving $50-100 a month so we can continue building new regional hub communities with housing and vehicle provisions for short-term missionaries, support long-term missionaries that provide member care and field leadership, equip indigenous believers, and establish hub churches in communities with unchurched people groups.
