As SEND celebrates 80 years of God’s faithfulness, we look ahead with expectancy. The world has changed—and so has the face of missions. While the North American church still has a role to play, a new generation of missionaries is emerging from the majority world—faithful believers who were once reached and are now ready to go.

The “SEND Us” initiative reflects our growing commitment to join God in this global shift. It’s more than a project—it’s a posture. Rooted in the growth of the church across the majority world, SEND Us is a vision to create a new pathway within SEND: one that offers belonging, access, and support to local and indigenous believers as they take the gospel to the unreached.

This vision is already taking shape. Through strategic partnerships and initiatives—like the recent acquisition and integration of The Kaifa Group, a faith-based ministry with deep local networks in SE Asia—we are learning how to serve alongside emerging leaders, contextualize training, and remove barriers that have historically limited access to mission. SEND brings decades of cross-cultural experience and global infrastructure. Our partners bring language, relationships, and rootedness in hard-to-reach places. Together, we go further.
