Cześć! We are Matt & Vickie Burkholder, and we are currently preparing for long-term service in Poland. These past few years, we have called Gainesville, FL home. We've been part of a strong church community, serving UF's international students. Through our church's missional focus and local outreach, God has led our hearts to serve in long-term missions. We are excited to serve alongside SEND & the Poland Team and help share the love of Jesus!

For Vickie, Poland has always been close to her heart. With family heritage in Poland and recent freelance work with a Polish company, she’s seen both the resilience of the Polish people and their deep spiritual need. She longs for them to experience the love and fullness of life with Jesus.

For Matt, missionary life is familiar from growing up in Mexico City. His heart for missions started growing in 2022 while attending Greenhouse Church. Greenhouse's focus on missions transformed his life and gave him a renewed purpose and heart for the lost of Poland.
