Hello! My name is Samantha, and I am an undergraduate student from Kentucky, United States, studying Business and Intercultural Studies. This summer, I have the opportunity to serve in Tokyo, Japan, through an urban church planting internship.

From a young age, God has been cultivating in me a love for the Japanese people. Over time, I developed a deep interest in Japan’s history, culture, and the ways God has moved within the country. Learning about the challenges the nation has faced, and the resilience of its people, has strengthened my desire to be part of what God is doing there.

As I have grown in faith, God has placed a strong burden on my heart for Japan. My desire is to come alongside the Japanese people and share the hope and love of Jesus Christ in meaningful, everyday ways.

During this internship, I will work alongside full-time missionaries by engaging in prayer, supporting church planting efforts, and participating in outreach and community-building through the local church.
