NK first moved to Skopje, Macedonia in the fall of 2011. After finishing full-time language study, she joined a church planting team that was working on the west side of Skopje. She taught English at a private school as a way to develop relationships with Macedonians and point them to Christ. While she loved teaching English and working with the church plant, she began to pray about the possibility to reach an unreached muslim people group in her city.

In 2016, she moved to the neighboring country to learn the Albanian language. After finishing language study, she stayed in the country to help other language learners and serve in a local church.

She moved back to Skopje, Macedonia in the summer of 2021 and now serves as director of an educational development non profit along with helping with a church plant that is reaching muslims in her city.
