Mitchell Sabas first served among an impoverished, isolated Muslim people group in Mindanao, Philippines. She then served in a restricted and remote region of East Asia for 10 years before moving to northern Thailand to temporarily serve for a year. Visa issues prevented her from going back to East Asia, but this ministry detour led her to serve in Timor Leste, the youngest southeast Asia nation.

A small country with 1.3 million people, Timor Leste's religion is 97.5% Catholic and Animism, 2% Protestant, and 1% Muslim, Buddhism, and Hindu. Mitch hopes to bring the truth and hope of the gospel in this unreached people group.
