We’re the Misaks! Thank you for your interest in our ministry. We want to see the global, Great Commission carried out by our generation and see people come into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mitch is not new to missions and has been serving with SEND International since 2010. He started as a short-term missionary serving in Czech Republic for a summer and then Poland for about a year. Mitch has a passion for church planting, youth ministry, and sports ministry. After a year serving in Europe, Mitch felt called to continue ministering to the Polish people. He spent two years in language school learning the Polish language and culture in Krakow and then helped train up Polish nationals in a church plant in Opole, Poland from 2015-2021.
In December 2021, he married Betsy, another Michigander from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Betsy also has experience living overseas. She participated in a study abroad program in Costa Rica and has a passion for reaching adults by teaching ESL (English as a Second Language). She has been serving in her local church on the worship team for a decade and loves to share her faith with others. She is bilingual in Spanish and has a passion for learning other languages.
Betsy was appointed with SEND in the beginning of February 2022 and the newlyweds (that’s us!!) are excited to serve together. We want to serve the Lord Jesus Christ however He directs, knowing that Europe has become the forgotten mission field and is far from being reached for Christ. Especially now, during the Ukraine crisis, we are planning to return to Poland to help start a new church plant. We are praying about the support needed to encourage the Polish nationals and influx of Ukrainian refugees.
