Hello, I am Kirk.

I want to help spread the gospel in Japan as I feel the lord leading me to serve there. The Lord has instilled a love for the culture, the language, art, and ultimately, the people. Fostered from the stories in the form of comics, shows, and novels. All of these are just a medium to convey a narrative, some of those narratives helped me in difficult times. This is why I want to share the Ultimate Story of the life of Christ. The story that saved my life.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

As a sinner, I know the guilt of sin, and no culture without Christ can know true peace. But as a Christian, I know the hope we have in Christ. According to Pew Research center, there are 2.8 million Christians in Japan as of 2020, this is out of a population of 124 million. That is more than 121 million people without that hope.

So, this is why I am hoping to go on mission to Japan in 2026 with the Obanazawa D-house. This would be my start as a missionary in Japan, and I hope to have a long-term role sharing the Gospel there.
