Wilma came to Christ and grew in her spiritual life through the ministry of SEND Philippines missionaries ministering with KBCF, a SEND-started church in Quezon City. After some years of church and seminary training and ministry involvement, she sensed God's call for her to leave her teaching job and serve the Lord in cross-cultural missions. She was led to Taiwan where she served with SEND International in two church-planting ministries in Taichung for more than 22 years. God also used her to teach missionary kids at Morrison Academy's satellite school in Yangmei for a year.
After more than two decades of church-planting ministry in Taiwan, she came back to the Philippines in late 2010 to serve as Missions Mobilizer and Trainer with Philippine Sending Council of SEND International. Her focus is on Filipino-Chinese churches and believers. From being a church planter herself, she now mobilizes, trains, and coaches future church planters/missionaries called to mission fields in Asia and other parts of the world that have little or no access to the gospel.
