Konnichiwa! My name is John Remaley, Jr. from Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania and I'm bound for the Land of the Rising Sun for the gospel's sake.

My love of Japan and the Japanese people started many years ago culminating in several trips to Japan and membership in the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia. But God wants more from me than just tea and flower garden viewing.

I have the incredible opportunity to head to Japan for a Vision Trip and Mission Conference from June 27 to July 11, 2026.

My heart is set on using this time to discern God's leading for my future. I’ll be meeting with long-term missionaries to learn about their ministries, the burdens they carry, and the joy they find in sharing the gospel in Japan. It is truly a chance to really see what life as a missionary looks like and to pray for a heart that is fully prepared for where I believe God might call me next.
