Warren and Dorothy are passionate about making the presence of Jesus known and bringing the message of Jesus to those who have yet to hear. During 16 years of ministry in Japan, they were involved in two Japanese church plants and one established church. Those years nurtured in them a deep love for building relationships, creating new ways to connect with people, and walking alongside them on their journey toward Jesus.

In 2004, Warren transitioned from field missionary to International Director, where he led the global ministry of SEND International. During those same years, Dorothy launched SEND’s Women’s Ministry Team, investing in the encouragement and professional development of women serving across the mission.

In July 2025, Warren completed his service as International Director and stepped into the role of Director of Global Collaboration. In this new season, he partners with national leaders and helps mobilize local and global workers into expanding ministry opportunities, especially in Asia.

Their ministry story is deeply intertwined with their family story. All three of their sons were born in Japan, and today Warren and Dorothy are grateful to have welcomed two daughters-in-law into the family and to enjoy the blessing of five grandchildren.
