Gerald is from Germany and came to faith while studying MBA at University. Emöke is from Hungary and also came to faith during studies at University.

We have been serving in Spain since September 2005, first among college students with IFES (IVCF) in Madrid, later as church planters in Guadalajara, 50 km northeast of Madrid.

From 2018 to 2024 Gerald was serving as Area Director of SEND Spain caring for and empowering his fellow missionaries to preach the gospel to the widely unreached Spanish people.

Since May 2024 we are back in local church ministry with the Guadalajara church. Gerald is serving in a pastoral role, preaching, teaching, mentoring, discipling and training leaders.

Emöke supports Gerald in his ministry. In the local church she forms part of the women's leadership team, is mentoring and training women and serves as usher.

We both love to meet with people, to share the good news of Jesus, to teach the scripture, and to take care of people.

We have three grown-up children, Daniela ( www.danihaupt.com ), Samuel, and Christina and are empty-nesters. Our children live in Viena (Austria) and Germany.
