My name is Elison Dove, and my aim is to serve God through surrendering my life in an increasing fashion for the work of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. What I've come to know is that obedience equates to opportunity in the kingdom of God. And so, I continue to pray for opportunities of obedience so that others may have the opportunity to see Jesus through me. My heart has been drawn toward missions work from a place of obedience.

As I have continued to pursue Christ, opportunities to minister through social media platforms have led me to reach people all over the world. From that growth, I have been pointed in the direction of taking real steps toward doing as Christ calls us all to do—going into all the world to make disciples of all people and nations.

That is where my heart now is, aimed at taking a step of faith for his great name. Currently, that step looks like serving this summer at Tanalian Bible Camp in Alaska. During my time there, I will serve in a variety of roles, from camp counselor to cook to general maintenance. I look forward to serving the kids who will be attending and hope to be an encouragement to them in Christ.
