James grew up in Manila. He and Helen met in Bible school. They have two grown children. TheAberinfamily were missionaries to Poland for seven years before returning to the Philippines in 2007 so that James could assume the role of Area Director for the Philippines Sending Council.James and Helen love to play badminton.
