Our journey to Japan began in 2013 when we moved from North Carolina to Texas for higher education. During this time, we developed a deep interest in Asian cultures and their relationship with the Gospel. We were shocked to learn that less than one percent of Japan’s population has embraced the Good News of Jesus Christ. This reality stirred our hearts and led us to pursue long-term missionary work with SEND International.

Today, we serve as career missionaries in the Tokyo area, committed to sharing Christ’s love and discipling the next generation. Amanda ministers to high school students through HiBA, an afterschool club that equips young believers in their faith. Jonathon serves the local church by leading youth Bible studies and providing administrative support at the SEND Japan office in Higashitokorozawa.
