Ways to Give

Thank you for your interest in donating to the ministries and missionaries of SEND Canada. We have several options for how to give. Just click on the + to expand the options below to learn more.
1. Give Online via CanadaHelps

Online donations from Canada are processed through CanadaHelps. A service charge of 4% applies for one-time donations, and a fee of 3.75% applies for monthly donations. After you donate, CanadaHelps will email you a receipt. Please keep the receipt for your year-end taxes (no annual receipt will be issued). 

In the form below, please select the FUND type that you wish your donation to be directed towards, and a message outlining the person(s) or details of the project you are supporting.

2. Give by Writing a Cheque

Please make the cheque payable to SEND Canada and mail it to us at any time.

We will send you an annual receipt once the year-end accounting is completed.

3. Give by Pre-Authorized Contribution (PAC)

This is an automatic transfer from your bank account to SEND Canada’s bank account. Withdrawals can be made either on the 1st or 15th of the month. This is our most cost efficient way of making a monthly donation to a SEND ministry.

Important note: Donations to approved projects and personnel are tax-deductible, and are sought with the understanding that SEND International has complete discretion and control over use of all donations. Personal gifts are not accepted at the office. Please contact your missionary for giving details.

Receipts: All donations are receipted annually by February 28 of the following year. Ensure you have included your email address for E-Receipts.

4. Give by Credit Card

Call the office (1-888-918-5036) to make a donation by credit card. We will ask for information similar to what merchants ask you as if you were making a purchase on-line.  Withdrawals are made on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 28th of the month.  We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards only. An annual receipt will be forwarded to you once the year-end accounting is completed.

A 2.5% fee is charged to SEND Canada by the credit card company for each credit card donation.  This 2.5% fee will be deducted from the total amount of your credit card donation.

After the year end you will receive a tax receipt for the total amount of the donations you have made in the calendar year.

5. Give by Post-Dated Cheques

Send us sufficient post-dated cheques for a 6 or 12 month time period. Once you have completed filling them in, mail them to:

You can look forward to receiving an annual receipt after the year-end accounting is completed.

6. Give Online by e-Transfer
You can send your donation by email using your online banking webpage. No processing fee will be deducted from your donation. Your bank may, however, charge a service fee. If you wish to donate via Interact e-Transfer, please follow the steps below. 

1. Fill out the form below.
2. Go to your online banking site and click on the link for Interact e-Transfer. 
3. Input [email protected] for the Recipient's email address. 
4. Be sure to include your name and email address in the message box.

7. Give by Donating Securities
To donate securities, please follow these instructions: 
1. Complete this form and then forward it to your broker/investment advisor. Your broker or investment advisor is responsible for initiating the transfer.

2. Forward a copy of this completed form to Falon Da Silva at BMO Nesbitt Burns ([email protected]) and to SEND International Canada ([email protected]).
Spending of donated funds is confined to the support of people, programs and projects approved by SEND International of Canada. If a donor chooses to designate a contribution for the support of a particular person, program or project, we will honour that designation, with the understanding that, when the need for support of a particular person, program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by SEND International of Canada, the remaining designated contribution will be used for other needs consistent with the charitable purposes of the Organization.
