In 1997 I, Jon, felt restless. I really wanted a job where I could travel. Rather than change jobs, my boss offered me a trip to Japan. I loved the culture, but was struck by the sense of lostness. During my trip, Elaine was back in Canada, feeling God asking her to trust him in whatever he had for her. Shortly thereafter, we both sensed God leading us into missions.
