United Theological Faculty Renovation
A 16 year old takes over as pastor because no one else in his church is able to do it. A seminary student preaches in three different cities because those churches don’t have their own pastor. These stories are repeated across Bulgaria as a handful of pastors struggle to fill the many vacancies.
United Theological Faculty (UTF) hopes to bridge that gap by training pastors and Christian workers for Bulgaria and the Balkan region. For almost 20 years, SEND has worked with UTF and seen hundreds get vital training, both on campus and through the extension program.
The current building used by UTF is in need of renovation. UTF’s programs and enrollment are increasing, creating a need for a well-built, functional space. To delay much longer will cause more deterioration, increasing the cost of repairs and changes needed.
