 Hi, I’m Dave Wood -- US director for SEND International. I’m excited about the number of new missionaries we are seeing come through our candidate training programs. We have got a goal to be sending out 60 new missionaries this year, and I think we are going to make it! This is a stretch goal and we are surrounding it with prayer.
We have quality people coming into SEND from many different backgrounds. They are all ages; they’re going to all of SEND’s 20 areas. They deserve the best foundation we can possibly give them. Their churches deserve our support and assistance as they use SEND to move their members into missions.
It’s our job at SEND USA to recruit, train, send and pray for each new missionary – and the ones we already have in ministry. We also seek to develop fervent prayer partners and committed financial partners.
