Mark Dever's book Nine Marks of a Healthy Church. I'm also reading Kent Hughes' Disciplines of a Godly Man.
What was your last job before SEND?
We’ve been with SEND for over 30 years -- so substitute teaching in the Detroit public schools. My first job in SEND was teaching at Faith Academy for 10 years.
What do you love about your church?
The careful, enthusiastic expository preaching of the Word of God by our pastor -- who sees that as his number one focus.
