Campus Reps - Bryan Williamson

Bryan Williamson

Bryan Williamson and his wife, Marcie, graduates of Grace College and the Intercultural Ministry program, came to SEND in the late 90's. Following a year of cross-cultural experience in Japan from 2000-01, they returned to the US office where Bryan oversees SEND's newly appointed missionaries and provides orientation training, pre-field counsel and support discovery coaching.  Marcie supports SEND's Eurasia directors and missionaries in Russia, Ukraine & Kazakhstan.  Their team also includes their 2 daughters, Hailey  and Kelsey, who help new missionary kids feel at home during training programs.

What is your favorite quote?
"While vast continents are shrouded in darkness... the burden of proof lies upon you to show that the circumstances in which God has placed you were meant by God to keep you out of the foreign mission field." - Ion Keith-Falconer

What is your dream date?
My dream date would be that Marcie, my wife, liked roller-coasters and we could spend a day at Cedar Point without lines!

What would you want written on your tombstone?
"At Home in Heaven, by God's Grace"

If God hadn't called you to be a missionary, what vocation would you most
likely be doing?

Prior to joining SEND International, I was a software developer and database manager for 9 years until moving to Japan. I would likely still be enjoying that line of work had I not responded to be involved in full-time kingdom work.

Why do you mobilize students for SEND International?
Everywhere I go outside America, I feel confronted by the greater multitude of spiritual, emotional, and physical needs people have. Luke 10:2 calls this the plentiful harvest and conveys Christ's passion that more people be mobilized.
