Elizabeth Givens has served with SEND in the Philippines, Hong Kong and the US. As a missionary writer and editor, she is responsible for much of SEND’s print media and enjoys teaching missionaries how to write. She has visited all of SEND’s countries and more. Her other passion is Bible teaching and she enjoys speaking in college chapels and at women’s conferences. She works in the Northeast with her husband, Dave, and has three adult daughters.

What is your dream date?
Unhurried time with my husband -- A picnic at the ocean or a good steak dinner by the fireplace of a remote mountain cabin.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

If God hadn't called you to be a missionary, what vocation would you most likely be doing?
Education – teaching and administration.
