We have been on the Ukraine field in Kiev since August '96. We provide administrative support for the team, host guests, and work with the national leadership. Our days are filled with activities new to us, but commonplace in Kiev. We travel on crowded buses that would have been retired years ago in most cities. We buy vegetables and fruits from street vendors. Ukraine has the most wonderful fruit and berries we have ever eaten. Meat and raw milk can likewise be bought on the street for the best prices--but not necessarily for the best quality!

We are seeing the Lord consistently accomplish far more evangelistic activity in Ukraine than we are accustomed to. We must really hustle to keep up with His work among children, Bible College students, seminary students, our team, and our church family.

Our excitement comes from seeing God work His handiwork in the lives of our teammates and our national friends. After working in secular fields for 40 years, we find it stimulating to watch God reach the former Soviet Union for Himself.
