CBSR Biblical Training Center
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). The Apostle Paul wrote these words to Timothy, charging him to teach the pure Word of God and pass it on to others who were able to teach. Paul knew that sound teaching was the key for the growth and maturity of the church. In Russia’s Central Black Soil Region, however, there is little access to necessary theological training. The CBSR Biblical Training Center was established to meet this need. Through modular on-campus classes or distance learning, the Training Center trains and disciples future leaders into faithful servants who will then train others to train others (2 Timothy 2:2).
Modular Sessions:
The CBSR Biblical Training Center’s two and a half year modular program focuses on three main areas of development: character, practical theology and ministry skills. Students not only learn the fundamentals of theology but also how to apply it to their life and ministry for maximum impact. Each student also works with a mentor, allowing accountability and input from a mature servant. Distance Education:
Many current and potential leaders aren’t able to take the time and travel the distance to attend sessions at the Biblical Training Center. So the Training Center is partnering with Kursk Bible College’s new video-based distance education program to provide BA level courses. Through it, believers can study the Bible at their own pace while balancing ministry, family and work.
How You Can Help
The CBSR Biblical Training Center needs your help to provide this important training to Russian believers. Project funds will provide for the ongoing expenses of the Training Center and the Distance Education Program. Make a contribution
