Already Celebrating Christmas 2012!
Would you believe Christmas 2012 is already upon us? It is in Macedonia! Today is Christmas Eve ("Badnik"), January 6. We had our first "trick-or-treater" (traditional for the morning of Badnik, which is called "Koleday") at 3:30 am this morning. No that's not a typo -- 3:30 in the morning after being up till 11:00 last night socializing with neighbors over bonfires. Good thing today is a holiday to rest!!
But the big news for which we praise God is the wonderful evening we had putting on our first ever live nativity scene at Word of Hope Church Madjari. We had wonderful participation from the congregation, who worked together to...
Feeling the Pressure
Nadine has been feeling the pressure lately at Crossroads Centre...literally. A new service that we are offering through the community center is a free blood pressure check and consultation. Once or twice a month we put a sign out in front offering the service. This is the third month we have done this, and more and more people from the community are coming in to see Nurse Nadine.

About This Blog
Andy and Nadine Spradley serve on a church-planting team in a suburb of Skopje, Macedonia. They began their ministry in Macedonia in 1995. They participated in the planting of Word of Hope church in the suburb of Novo Lisiche for several years. That church is now pastored by Pero Todoroski. The Spradleys are currently planting a daughter church for Word of Hope, in a different suburb called Madjari.
Andy worked for several years as an electrical engineer before beginning missionary work. He received his theological training at Talbot Seminary (M.A. in Bible Exposition). Nadine, who is a registered nurse, previously served at a mission hospital in Zimbabwe.
The Spradleys have three daughters: Whitney, Heather and Katelyn.
