SEND seeks to empower and equip churches in Russia to reach beyond their borders to establish healthy reproducing churches.
For our team in the Buryat region, this means learning and understanding how to build relationships with the Buryat people (Tibetan Buddhists). The SEND team works with the Russian Christians to help disciple Buryat people into churches, and build bridges between Russians and Buryats in the Body of Christ.
In the Central Black Soil region, SEND is serving along side the Russian churches in the Tambov Province to establish a new church in twelve regional centers. This includes the training of young adults to pastoral and church leadership, equipping pastors, and encouraging men and women into missions. Youth ministry (including training leaders for a province-wide small group ministry) is also key to our activity in the Tambov region. In the Lipetsk province, SEND is serving to strengthen the churches and develop leaders in local church ministries with the goal of healthy church reproduction through solid biblical teaching, reaching the lost, and making disciple-makers.
Our Moscow team strives to serve along side with the believing International community in areas of reaching out with the love of Christ and providing biblical discipleship and resources for the believers to grow in their walk with Christ.
