Can I be a missionary?

If your career has been in the work world you may be wondering, “Can I be a missionary?”  Missions is made up of people who’ve come out of a variety of careers, not just seminary.  Whether you are a plumber, salesman, accountant, executive or engineer there is probably a place where you can serve.  At Re:Vision you will have the opportunity to explore different opportunities with a variety of local and global ministries.

You’ve been working, perhaps even have a career?  You have plans.  You have a family.  You love missions.  You’ve given money and time.  You’ve been a sender.  Yet, there is something inside you that wants to invest in more.  Now you want to explore a change.  A different path.  Could you serve God full time?

If this is you, then Re:Vision is for you.  It is a place for you to network with others who are also on this journey, listen to some who’ve already made the move, have someone listen to your story and connect with a variety of local and global ministry opportunities.

It is not our desire to fill some slot or get you to sign the dotted line.  Our desire is to help you see how your skills, gifts and passions can be used in ministry.  To help you get to where you feel God is calling you.   At the conference you will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of different ministries who have come together to help you on your journey.

Re:Vision is a missions conference designed for working age people who want to explore the possibility of missions.  So whether you are in your twenties and just beginning a career or in your fifties and looking for a change, this conference is for you.  While sponsored by SEND International and a local church, the conference invites a variety of different mission groups to participate in the hopes that one of the groups will be a good fit for each participant.
