Philippines Typhoon Relief
On Friday, November 08, Super Typhoon Haiyan slammed Central Philippines, forcing over 630,000 people from their homes. It is one of the strongest tropical cyclones to ever make landfall with sustained winds of 315 kph (195 mph) and gusts up to 380 kph (235 mph). Thousands are dead and those that survived are in desperate need of food, water and medical attention.
SEND has partner churches in the typhoon-hit area which will be helped with disaster relief. Please consider giving to help them minister to storm victims.
Your donations will go directly from SEND International to our PSC Director to churches in the region. We will do immediate relief assistance (IRA) by providing food, clothing and medicines; second is long-term assistance (LTA) to help rebuild churches and pastors’ homes.
