No wonder we’re called SEND International! Not only do SEND missionaries serve around the world—they also come from all over the globe. SEND missionaries include Japanese serving in the Philippines; Filipinos serving in Poland, Spain and Taiwan; East Indians serving in Taiwan; Taiwanese serving in Ukraine; and the list goes on. Brett & Michelle Hamilton, Brittany, Heather, Brandon, & Shannon

We have served with SEND International in Wroclaw, Poland since 1995. Brett originally came to Poland the summer of 1984 with the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. It was here that Brett powerfully felt the Lord calling him to return to Poland. While on a vision trip in 1992, Brett and Michelle became convinced that the critical need in Poland was for the extension of the evangelical churches in Poland. Wroclaw is a city of about 800,000 people and has two Baptist churches that together totals about 400 members (this is .05% of the population).

In the fall of 1996, a small group of believers began to meet in our living room where we prayed and studied the book of Acts for one year. Working in partnership with missionaries from Conservative Baptist International (CBI) we have seen this core of believers grow to 25 members and begin "New Hope Fellowship." Currently, this fellowship is in the process of registering with the Baptist Union in Poland and evaluating sites to rent, build, or purchase for their worship center. Brett and Michelle are involved in evangelism and personal discipleship and see their marriage and family as a powerful witness to the love and grace available in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
