Our Mission & Vision
The SEND of Alaska mission statement is: "To reach the people in the north with the message of the gospel to transform their lives and help them form into self-sustaining groups as part of the body of Christ.
For more than 60 years SEND missionaries have
been taking the light of the gospel to those living in darkness
across the North. Our vision is to see lives transformed, families
changed, and entire communities touched by the light of our hope
in Jesus Christ, a hope that they can share.

Church
Ministries
We want to see
the church established in the Far North by having the Word of God
demonstrably lived and proclaimed in Native American and First Nations
communities in remote North America where it is not currently being
heard. Our
goal is to recruit 105 missionaries in the next 5 years to have
them join our team and enable them to make known the Gospel of Jesus
Christ in communities of largely indigenous peoples in Alaska, the
Yukon Territory, and northern British Columbia.

We operate two community-oriented Christian stations: KCAM-AM in Glennallen and KRSA-AM in Petersburg. We are also building a new FM station to reach Native Alaskans in remote villages.
