Mission

ICSB was established to provide an opportunity for students in grades 1-12 to receive a quality education within the framework of a sound Christian worldview. Our vision for each student includes the building of character on the foundation of Biblical values, the developing of each mind by the Word of God, the changing of lives through a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ, and the shaping and molding of the whole person through the influence of Godly mentors.

School Facts:

• The school, which was founded in 1994, is located in Diosd, a small town just outside of Budapest, Hungary.
• An American-based curriculum is used in grade 1-12, with the goal of preparing students for entry into North American college & universities.
• The student body is approximately 60% missionary kids and 40% international and Hungarian students.
• All classes are taught in English, but the school has special assistance for students who speak English as a second language.
• Since the fall of 2000 ICSB has had a boarding program for high school students and their middle school siblings whose parents are in full-time religious service.
• ICSB is jointly accredited by Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA).
• ICSB is a member of ACSI, MSA, European Council of International Schools (ECIS), and Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA).

Students

The student body consists of 170 students in grades 1-12, representing at least 15 different nations. Our small size creates greater opportunities for one-on-one student-teacher relationships.

Extra-Curricular

ICSB's small size gives all students and staff a chance to participate in the many extracurricular activities including: band, choir, art, soccer, volleyball, track, basketball, drama, video, journalism, parties, and retreats for both staff and students!
