Philip & Lynn Jackson

Our vision trip in March of 1993 confirmed for us that the Lord wanted us in Skopje, so we arrived with joyful hearts in January of 1995. We were among the first wave of missionaries to arrive here, and it was exciting to see how God began a good thing. Now over 7 years later, we are seeing Him carry on to completion the work that He began. Today, we are even more convinced of the need for church planters and evangelists to reach the lost in this place. With around 1, 500 believers in the whole country (of 2.1 million) the harvest field clearly needs more laborers.

We have had the privilege of working as church planters here. I (Philip) led the team for several years, and now serve as Area Director for SEND South Central Europe. Although this role requires that much of my time is focused on ministries outside of Macedonia (making church planting my night-job), my heart is still here. Lynn, with what little spare timeshe has after being full-time Mom to our three children (Annalisa, Gabriel, Samuel), really enjoys discipling women and leading womens bible studies. Our children are a big part of our ministry as well by building little bridges to many hearts. Our daughter, Annalisa, for example, is in Macedonian public school and is the only believer in her school of over 1000 students.
