Polish pastors ask for missionaries who will stay decades and understand the language. Japanese believers say it takes years to build trust. Croatian pastors estimate it takes 8-10 years for a church plant to become a viable church. And Alaskan villages don’t listen to newcomers for at least 5 years.
So while SEND welcomes missionaries for many lengths of service, we thrive on people who are committed to reaching the world over the long-haul.
