Kazuhiro san graduated from High School, had artistic gifts, and decided to enter university to design sports cars. He needed a place to live nearer the university and his aunt invited him to live in an empty room on the second floor of the church where she was working – with one stipulation – he was expected to attend Sunday morning worship services. I remember often hearing him come down the steps at 10:29 and slip into a chair in the back with his head down. He kept his aunt happy by keeping his part of the bargain, and for this he did get free lodging, but he also heard the gospel each Sunday. One weekend, an evangelist came to the church. While eating together, the evangelist challenged him "If you don't believe now, you might never believe." That got his attention. He made his decision to believe, was baptized, and exchanged his love for art to preach the gospel. He graduated from seminary, married a pastor's daughter and today pastors a church. Kazuhiro sensei is a product of his aunt's prayers, the committed preaching of a missionary, and the Grace of God.
