02 - Scholarships get kids to camp in Central Asia

In a Muslim world, opportunities to hear the gospel are limited and chances for a child to hear about Jesus are almost none! Muslim children in Central Asia can experience God’s love for the first time at a camp especially designed for children and staffed by local believers and SEND workers. Most can’t pay, so your scholarship will bring these kids to camp.

03 - OTS Sports Complex will bring joy and health

The neighborhood around Odessa theological Seminary has no public playgrounds or sports fields. Local churches have no sports facilities for outreach to teens. Seminary students need exercise to stay well and study well. OTS plans to build a sports complex that would meet all these needs. Your gift can help build this center, one meter at a time.

05 - Skopje Playgrounds light up whole neighborhoods for Christ

Playgrounds in Macedonia aren’t just for kids. They’re for churches. Most Skopje neighborhoods and schools lack playgrounds so local churches are meeting the need and creating places where relationships can be built with teachers, parents, and of course, kids. Believers help build the playgrounds and build friendships with the neighborhood.  You can change lives with slides and fire poles!

06 - Macau "ladies of the night" need a chance at a new life

Ministry in the Red Light District? There are about 4,000 women from China working as prostitutes in Macau, the gambling capital of Asia. Nobody will say how they got there, or why trafficking is allowed to continue. SEND is encouraging women to find a new way to live by providing medical outreach events for testing as well as Bibles and literature. You can give one young woman a chance for a new life.

07 - Blessing House lights a dark corner of Europe

Imagine living in a place where war is normal and tragedy a part of life.  Blessing House wants to bring light to this darkness, but the main building is only partly finished.  Carved out of a mountain, this camp hosts hundreds – all ages, all year. Many from remote mountains hear the gospel for the first time and receive Christ with great joy!

08 - Warrior Youth Conference

Warrior Leadership Summit is held annually for Native and First Nation youth across North America. SEND North wants to send 40 Native youth from remote villages to this event in June 2012. This is a one-month journey, with intense in-car discipleship as they travel to Missouri. You can give one Native young person a trip that will change them forever.

Ukrainians are strategic players in the future of missions in the former communist world. 12 - Bulgarian Down Syndrome kids and their parents find hope and help

Most Down Syndrome children in Bulgaria are put in orphanages so there is little support for parents who keep these special children. Last year SEND’s first Down Syndrome Parent conference brought Christian educators, speech therapists, doctors, and parents to share their stories and expertise, giving hope to Bulgarian doctors, parents, therapists, orphanage staff, and teachers. You can help launch the 2012 conference.

13 - Addiction rehab brings healing and peace

Russian drug addicts and alcoholics are desperate to find freedom. Families are broken and need healing. Transformation House, a drug and rehab center in Russia’s Central Black Soil Region, is bringing Christ’s light to Russians with addictions. Very few churches exist and only 0.2% of the 8 million people there know the Lord. The building must be finished to meet code! You can give healing and peace.
