Dear Friends and Family,

We are pleased to announce that we are now fully supported and have been given the "green light" to go back to Ukraine!

We are continuing to pack and prepare for the next phase of our missionary adventure. We are in the middle of the visa application process and should have visas in hand here in a couple weeks. We have purchased tickets and will be flying out of Dallas on Monday, February 6.

We can't express just how thankful we are to our support team for standing with us these past months. We are thankful for our new supporters who God has just raised up to put us over the top. Thank you to all those who have ben praying with us and sending us notes of encouragement. Thank you. God continues to bless us through all of you.

For those who are still interested in helping us financially and would like to give one-time gifts, We still need a few thousand dollars to continue Russian language school. Wendy is still working on completing the program (she has studied part-time since Kian's birth) and Chris would like to study part-time to be more effective.

If you would like to contribute toward our language school fund, you may go to our page on SEND's website (www.send.org/bresnahan) and click "Give To This Missionary Now" and follow the instructions.
Nov. 28th Prayer Update

We have been very blessed this past year. We are so thankful for our new home church First Baptist Church of Frisco and all the many new friends we have made there. We are thankful for time we have spent with Chris' family. We are thankful for the time to get medical things squared away especially all of Kian's four year immunizations. We are thankful for an understanding donor base and an understanding land lord. We are thankful for God's timing and provision in our lives.

This past month our church has highlighted it's different missionaries each Sunday. This past Sunday we were highlighted in a video interview. We are praying that it would be a good reminder to all of those that we have been speaking with about our ministry, so that the rest of our support would come in.

Our need is $370/mo in faith promises. We are almost there and praying the Lord would quickly bring it in so that we can move back to Ukraine over Christmas break.

Thank you so much for your prayer support! If you are not currently part of our donor team, and would be interested in helping us go back to Ukraine, please pray and consider. If you would like to give, click on the link at the top of the previous page that says, "Give To This Missionary Now!"

     Thank you so much!

In Christ,

Chris and Wendy Bresnahan

Cyndy

Radiation is complete, pray that the effect will be seen in a long period of reprieve from tumors.

Pray that her body quiet down and heal. She's experiencing seizures often, quite disconcerting since they say she has no visible tumors at this time. They've increased medication/steroids which have led to rapid weight gain and puffiness. Pray that these physical effects don't discourage her but that God would encourage her with a sense of His presence and confidence in His care for her. Pray that He'd heal her altogether...stop seizures, strengthen her body and mind, deliver her from all fear.

Pray for this time of recouperation and refreshment from God now that she's settled back into her home. Pray that God would bring others around her to help but not socially tire her. Pray that she'd make the right choices in how to use her energy.

Another concern remains regarding medical coverage. Pray that God direct their every step in His timing to know how to handle bills and/or insurance matters.

Ultimately, pray that she and Lenny be trustful of God's providence, period. This is her desire. Thanks for praying.

It seems that God is causing some in CA to be interested in His work in Ukraine too, pray that we represent it well. Pray that genuine Christ centered relationships form with those we're meeting at the church we're attending here, pray that God would use us to get others excited about world missions.

Pray that God would meet our needs as SEND requires (100% financial support and a prayer team of 30 committed partners) sooner than later so that we can be ready to return to Ukraine shortly after grad.

This Week

The long awaiting class time begins! Greg's as excited as a school kid. His classes are arranged so that he only has to drive the 60 min. drive once a week (if he chooses to go that way.) He's able to spend one or two nights a week with his mother. Pray that they'll be a blessing to eachother and that God be welcome in all of their interaction.

Pray for our living arrangement in OC. That we'd be an added blessing to this house, that we'd all be a source of encouragement to one another. That we'd be others centered. That our love and fellowship in the Spirit draw non-believing family members to the Savior.

Mom's health is stable and she's enjoying this time of reprieve (free from the nausea of chemo and weariness of radiation.)

She continues to be encouraged by the hospice care she's receiving - primarily for personal care and some meal preparation and light housework. Just knowing that this help is available serves to relieve some stress for her and she's really enjoying visiting with the women who come. She praises God for how He is caring for her, and I thank you for your intercession on her behalf.

New Hope Church

Eighteen members attended the Bible College class on Prayer last week, prayer that it'll change their lives, focus, and power in ministry. Pray that it'll give them a hunger to study more.

Pastor Sasha will pray this year for a vision for a new church (body) in Kremenchuk. Pray that it'll be God directed, that we wouldn't try to build of our own wisdom or dreams or in our own strength but rather that it'd be the working out of God's will in His time, His place with His chosen servants.

Pray for unity between Pastor Sasha and Pastor Andre, that they'd both know what God requires of each of them and that they'd be comfortable with their own calling and empowered to do what God asks of them individually and corporately. Thank you for your prayers.

It's All Starting Again!

Just like you, we're all back in the saddle again beginning August 30. Audrey is in the second semester of her junior year at Houghton College (NY). She has changed her Education major to Communications. She is almost finished with her English major and her writing minor. Audrey always packs way too much in to one day, so your prayers for her health and sanity are very appreciated. :)

Lindey is a senior at KCA (Kiev, Ukraine) and has a very busy year ahead. She was elected student body president, and she has MANY ideas she hopes to implement. She will be applying to several colleges, and right now Huntington College in IN is her top choice.

Michael is still recovering from his ruptured Achilles tendon injury but is much better. He's doing his own physical therapy very faithfully. Swelling is still an issue. He returns to KTS and a full schedule of mentoring.

Diane has been running the KCA library throughout the summer and will continue to oversee it during the school year. She and many volunteers moved the entire library from the 2nd floor to the 4th (no elevator, mind you) in one day! This entails around 7,500 books, so it was quite an accomplishment.

The SEND Language Program is also starting up, and due to a decrease in the amount of full-time missionaries being sent to this part of the world (mostly from missions other than SEND), our student numbers are dropping steadily. Diane is praying that she will not have to let any of the teachers go this school year, but it is not looking good at this point.
