Please PRAY with us... For...

Please PRAY with us...

For Outdoor Education’s success. Pray for safety as there are over 200 middle-schoolers traveling to Subic bay and some are even flying in from Mindanao in the south. Pray that no one will get hurt, as the kids will be hiking a lot and camping out on the beach one night. Pray for logistics to work out: Busses to arrive on time Monday morning, transportation for all of these kids; food for all of them; ministry opportunities in the Filipino schools and so many other things. Pray for good health for the squad leaders, seniors who are volunteering, and all the kids. Pray that the moments in God’s Word would be revolutionary in the lives of those not fully living for the Lord. Pray for the ministry to the local schools. Pray our kids would be lights as they interact with the local Filipinos in the ministry segment of this week.

For better health. Both boys are still fighting some colds and I have felt sick now for two days. Pray for good health.

That God would be our safety while Tony is away. Things always seem to break when he is gone so pray that the car runs, the pipes don’t burst etc.

For Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips. This may seem like a strange request, but these little chocolate chips are dairy and soy free and so “David Friendly.” They allow Heather to make special desserts that David can enjoy. Unfortunately, we have NOT been able to get any now for about 3 months. Please pray that they will once again appear in Health Options.

For our computer situation. Some time ago, the 6-year old desktop computer we shipped. It was unfixable due to its age. Another missionary here gave us an old one they were not using. Tony got this one working, but it lasted only about a month. He is not sure what the problem but it won’t boot up. And just today, Saturday, our 5-year old laptop started acting up, indicating that the display and/or system board is dying. So, this leaves us with just the one computer that Tony purchased while on furlough. As David starts to use the computer more for school, Tony needing a computer for work, and Heather also needing a computer for various tasks, dropping down to just one functioning computer will be challenging. Please pray that Tony can get one of these others working properly until a better solution presents itself.

For Princeton. To learn more, visit Princeton’s Caringbridge site at www.caringbridge.com/visit/princetonbryan.

PRAISE God with us... For...

PRAISE God with us...

For the coaching seminar that I (Heather) attended. Monday through Wednesday of this week, I traveled into town with two others who were attending this seminar with me. For those of you who have asked, the seminar was to teach me how to coach other people. We learned the art of asking open questions and getting the coachie to think from different angles. We learned a model to get a coachie to come up with his/her own solutions. The reason I took this seminar was because SEND PSC has asked me to be a coach for female appointees who are candidates for missions. When there are too many people needing coaching and too little coaches, I will come into play and coach through Skype, etc.

For a lighter week this next week for Robert and I. Most of my ministry at Faith is in the Middle School so with them gone this week on Outdoor Education (OE), I have a bit of a break. We will also have a break from Tagalog so pray I can get ahead and use my time wisely there.
