All rights reserved SEND online orientation for new team leaders from February 6 - March 18, 2012.   The course explores what it means to be an effective team leader in a mission organization, given the tension between one's own personal ministry and the responsibilities of leading other missionaries.  The course has room for 15 participants, and only a few places remain open. Pray for God to give us a full enrollment.  Pray that team leaders who participate will be able to fully give themselves to the learning during the 6 weeks of the course, and be able to incorporate the principles learned into their team leadership.]]> Pray for the Member Orientation Program being held in Quezon City, Philippines from January 16-27, 2012.  Ken & Bertha Guenther will both be in the Philippines from January 11 - Feb 3.  Twenty participants from the Philippines, Taiwan, Canada and the United States will be learning various cross-cultural principles and mission practices that will prepare them to serve in 6 different ministry areas.  Many of them already are serving in cross-cultural missions, but now are joining SEND as members. Pray that we will able to clearly communicate the culture and values of SEND, and that close relationships of trust will be established between these new SEND missionaries and the members of the International Office that will be leading the training.  Pray that the participants' spiritual intimacy will deepen through the daily sessions on the topic of spiritual formation and the Day Alone With God on January 26.]]>
