LOVE EUROPE

Tomorrow is the application deadline for students to work with LOVE EUROPE. Ask God to supply students, their financial support, and to prepare the hearts of Europeans these students will meet in Europe in June and July.

CHINA

We praise God and welcome our first Chinese mobilizer in the East Asia Office. Please remember her and her adjustments to her new post. She needs wisdom to promote SEND and mobilize local Christians and churches for missions.

CENTRAL ASIA

Pray for the Central Asian church leaders as they seek to improve the process of setting and evaluating goals and strategies to grow the church, and for SEND workers who need to renew their visas for another year.

PHILIPPINES

Pray for the recruitment and training of many PSC short-term teams this year, especially those to Taiwan and Thailand. Pray that full support will be met for three couples/singles seeking to be deployed to Kazakhstan and Thailand early in 2012.

INTERNATIONAL -- TKC education

Pray for good connections with SEND families at the SHARE Education Conference this week in Sopron, Hungary. The conference is a family highlight as MKs, most of whom study at home, connect in a fun setting while missionary parents are encouraged and educated through plenary sessions, workshops and fellowship.

Pray that God will guide the nine couples or singles appointed to serve in Spain through the support raising process and that the Lord will supply their needs so they can arrive in His timing.

Pray for the contacts we are making on the West-side of Skopje through English classes, ping pong tournaments, coffees, and the power of prayer, as we ask God to establish this brand new church plant. May God open may doors for the gospel here in Tavtalige!

HOME SERVICE

Pray for many SEND workers planning home service this summer. Martin & Anja Teubert (Ukraine) and Gerald and Emöke Haupt (Spain) return to Germany. Pray for their schedule planning, for extra strength, for ministry to prayer partners and donors, and that they will return fully supported to Ukraine and Spain.

TURKEY

Pray for the people in the earthquake hit areas of eastern Turkey. Over 11,000 buildings sustained damage and 6000+ of these are now uninhabitable. Many are are living in tents in sub-zero temps. Pray for the few Christians to provide relief- tangible love that will be a bridge to connect with hearts.

MOBILIZATION

Ask God to touch students for long and short-term service at many college campus conferences this month, especially for Love Europe 2012. Pray also for whole families to move into mission involvement through Missionsfest Lancaster (PA) this weekend.

JAPAN -- Tokyo

Pray that we will live in daily dependence on Christ as we navigate Japanese language study, adapting to a new culture, and raising a toddler in Tokyo. Pray that we will build meaningful relationships with the Japanese around us and for opportunities to share the gospel.

Pray for friends of K who have counted the cost of following Jesus and decided to follow Him anyway. For some, this means severe family opposition and hostility, very difficult to face when still very young in the faith. Pray for daily strength in the midst of difficult circumstances.

RUSSIA -- Ulan Ude

As the long cold winter continues, pray for physical, emotional, and most of all spiritual health for missionaries in the north. In Buryatia, White Month ends in February; may we have opportunities to tell people about the real meaning of cleanliness and righteousness

One of our TESOL trainers is heading to a predominantly Muslim area of China to present a two-day seminar for teachers, principals, and administrators in a school district. Please pray for his preparation and his presentation.

CENTRAL ASIA

The first translation of the local Bible is in print, but there are some issues with the translation. Pray for skill, wisdom, and sensitivity for the review committee as they examine the whole Bible, note any areas of concern, and produce suggested revisions by the end of February.

CANADA

Pray that God will totally equip our appointees for service in their area of God’s harvest. This involves equipping them spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, relationally, and cross culturally.

HUNGARY

Pray for the training course Evan teaches on Tuesday nights, Carrie's evangelistic Bible study, and the house group that we lead on Sundays. There is such a great need in Hungary for training and biblical instruction.

Pray for a small group discipleship Bible study that I recently started and another evangelistic study that I’d like to start. Pray also that the Lord will provide a helper -- someone who could lead the study when I’m not there.

This weekend is an important Parenting Seminar at OBC. Raising children from a biblical perspective is essential to a strong church in the next generation. Pray for our speaker, a veteran missionary with Family Forum ministry, as he shares the Word and his life.
