Interested in exploring SEND International?

If you feel God is calling you into missions and SEND International is one of the organizations you are considering, then Explorer Track may be just what you need.  Explorer Track is a special four-day track blended with the SEND Family Conference.  It is designed for those wanting to get better acquainted with SEND as a mission and to research SEND’s ministry opportunities.  Each “explorer” is assigned a coach during the conference and will attend three group sessions for all explorers to help them in their research.

• Are you serious about long term missions, but want to get to know SEND International better?
• Would you like a chance to meet missionaries and leadership from specific fields and ministries that interest you?
• Would you like a no-pressure opportunity to see what we are like as a mission, and have your questions answered?
• If so, then Explorer Track could be a great option for you!

When and Where is Explorer Track?

• It takes place at our SEND International Family Conference, which will be held in Holland, Michigan on the campus of Hope College.
• The conference is held every year in late July, Sunday through Thursday.

Can families come to Explorer Track?

• Absolutely.  We have children’s programs for all ages so that parents can concentrate on learning all they can about SEND.

What are the requirements to attend?

• You must have filled out a Preliminary Questionnaire, and met with one of our SEND mobilizers or missionaries.  They must recommend you to attend.
• You must be actively researching long term missions, with a strong intent of entering the application process with an agency within the next year.
• SEND must be on the short list of agencies you are considering.

What are the costs of attending Explorer Track?

• These are approximate figures and include all conference costs (including rooms and meals), but do not include travel to and from Holland, Michigan
• Single adult--$300
• Married couple--$600
• Children—rates depend on the age(s) of the children.
• Limited scholarships may be available if the conference cost is prohibitive to you attending.
