Vision
There are about seven or eight evangelical denominations in the country. Most of them have less than 3000 members. SEND works with at least three of these groups including the largest group, which has over 8000 members.
One of the most pressing needs is to help train believers in the churches to do the work of the ministry. Denominational leaders see the need for training men for pastoral ministry, but little is done to prepare lay believers in evangelism, discipleship, leading small groups and other significant ministries.

Regional Impact Teams
Our goal is to launch two Regional Impact Teams (RITs) in the Czech Republic, possibly one in Bohemia and one in Moravia over the next 10 years. These teams would be committed to developing strong reproducing churches in strategic urban centres throughout the Czech republic.

What are RITs?
RITs comprise both missionaries and nationals partnering together in ministry. The skills, resources, and gifts of the individuals will determine the logistics of each team’s specific ministries. But the goal of each team will be the same: to equip the local church in evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, and, ultimately, church planting.

Why Partner with Nationals?
Our goal is to come alongside local churches who already share a similar vision for planting new churches and who could commission indigenous missionaries to work alongside SEND Czech republic missionaries. We envision teams that include multiple SEND units (2 minimum) along with several national partners. Though some churches share a vision for church planting, they lack sufficient resources to accomplish the task.

What Now?
We have one Regional Impact Team onsite in ministry already in the city of Brno. SEND Czech leadership in conjunction with national pastors is currently pinpointing other strategic centres in which to launch the next RITs.
