Missions to Albanians

In the Balkans, where ethnic tensions run high, people tend to hold strongly to any ethnic identifiers, particularly religion. Albanians have a high Islamic identity but are low in practice. Few Albanians attend Mosque or participate in other forms of worship regularly.

In spite of religious ties, good opportunities to reach Albanians do exist. Youth are actively seeking a new identity with little opposition from older generations. It is imperative that they have a clear witness of the gospel during this time of transition. We are free to engage people with the gospel and seek to do it in respectful ways.

  • Youth Ministry

    Working with national youth (middle school through college and young career) to evangelize and disciple.

  • TESOL Teachers

    Teaching English in both formal and informal settings in order to evangelize.

  • Bible Study Leader

    Men and women to lead small, informal, evangelistic Bible studies in order to plant churches.

  • Camping Ministry

    All roles related to camping—cooks, counselors, maintenance, administrators, etc.

  • Church Planter

    Men and women who build friendships, start conversations, lead Bible studies, and model Christian living in order to establish reproducing churches.

  • Discipler

    Coming alongside Christians to help them grow in their faith and reach others.
