1. Focused Purpose

In light of the urgency of the hour and the lostness of men, we are committed to a life of obedience to Jesus Christ to proclaim the Gospel and establish His church. Our ministries involve the following:

Starting Churches
SEND's primary goal is to start churches where none exist and serve the church where it does exist. This is done through evangelism, nurturing disciples and developing leaders.

Evangelizing the Unreached
SEND missionaries use a wide variety of outreach methods to meet unbelievers and bring them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Nurturing Disciples
SEND missionaries strive to disciple new believers into responsible, reproducing Christians who will form reproducing churches.

Developing Leaders
SEND is committed to train, teach and develop leaders in every place of ministry, under the accountability and authority of the local church.

2. A Commitment To the Local Church

We believe that close partnership with the local church is key to operating a ministry above reproach. We work closely with churches in sending countries to recruit and serve their missionaries. We work with local churches in ministry areas as they establish new churches. Under the local church, we work in cooperation with other similar missions.

Churches at home
In North America, SEND ministers to thousands of local churches, helping them send their missionaries to fulfil their great commission responsibilities around the world. Also in North America, SEND continues it's work in Alaska, partnering with Alaska Bible College, Crossroad Medical Center and two radio stations started years ago. Churches are planted and strengthened through pioneer evangelism in Alaska, the Yukon and British Columbia.

Churches abroad
In Europe, SEND first partnered with evangelical churches in Spain to assist their outreach to new neighborhoods and villages.

In the 90's SEND moved dramatically into Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, and other countries we can not even mention on this web (see Creative Access countries). New teams partner with believers who survived years of oppression and now want to evangelize, plant churches and train new believers.

SEND has more than 50 years of partnering closely with the national church in Asia. SEND plants churches and trains leaders in Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines, and parts of East Asia.

The former Soviet Union, SEND was privileged to be invited by the established national church there to work under their authority. This has given SEND long term ability to work where new religious organizations are challenged. Bible schools, seminaries, church planting seminars, teacher training classes, and new churches result. The believers zeal to plant new churches fits closely with SEND, and SEND offers tested experience.

3. Values Do Count

SEND International is a multinational organization of born-again people whose purpose is to glorify God through establishing the Church where it does not exist and serving it where it does exist. To achieve this purpose we give ourselves to aggressive evangelism, intensive discipling and intentional leadership development. To fulfill our basic purpose, we are committed to the following fundamental values:

URGENCY: In light of the urgency of the hour and the lostness of men, we are committed to a life of obedience to Jesus Christ to proclaim the Gospel and establish His church.

DEPENDENCE: We depend completely on GOD to supply our resources and enable our ministry. We depend on the Holy Spirit to use the written and spoken Word of God. The Bible is our guide for faith and practice.

SERVANTHOOD: We are servants of Jesus Christ, committed to give our lives for others and show Christ’s love in word and deed.

BELONGING: Each member of SEND is important. We seek to build a spirit of teamwork and goal ownership so each member has a sense of belonging.

INTEGRITY: We strive to live morally above reproach with honesty and fairness in all relationships. We are committed to the highest standards of ethics in all areas.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY: We incorporate missionaries of many nationalities in the task of discipling the nations. Our desire is to have a multinational membership working together in harmony towards the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
