Don and Janet Ekstrand > Bio
I, Don, first came to Japan in 1987 as a short-termer, and Janet joined me a year later, when we both taught at the Christian Academy in Japan until 1992. We returned to Japan in 1994 with SEND and later spent four years in the Philippines at Faith Academy. Now we are back in Japan and at CAJ once again. I am the instrumental music teacher and Janet works half-time in first grade teaching language arts and ESL. We have four children: Gretchen, in college; Mereta, grade 10: Collin, grade 8; and Brennan, grade 3.
